The forward felt right at home in her native Massachusetts as she recorded two goals in the Bulldog’s 4-1 win over A-10 rival UMass on Sunday. The sophomore’s first goal came at the 35 minute mark off a long range shot that began as a give-and-go from teammate Jennifer Harding. Despite playing in only the second and third games of her career, the Ireland native is already making noise as she amassed two goals and one assist at the Yale Tournament. In CCSU’s 2-1 win over Providence on Friday, Maguire wasted no time putting the Blue Devil’s on the board, scoring in the second minute of the match. Just under three minutes later she assisted on the game- winning goal. The rookie then scored the Blue Devils’ lone marker on Sunday with a penalty kick in a 2-1 setback against Marist. She now leads the Blue Devils in scoring with five points on the season.
