The roads and parts of roads affected by this proposal are Ash Road, Forge Lane, Forge Road, Halland Close, Holly Close, North Road, Pond Wood Road, Woodend Close; and (ii) extend the days of restriction in a number of roads in existing Zone F to create Zone F2 to allow parking for holders of residents and visitors permits 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. The roads and parts of roads affected by this proposal are Crabbett Road, Hazelwick Road, Kimberley Road, Mill Road, New Street and Three Bridges Road; and (iii) extend existing Zone G of the CPZ to allow parking for holders of resident and visitors permits 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday in Hastings Road; and (iv) introduce additional residents bays on sections of Alicia Avenue (outside No. 17) and Pearson Road (outside No.39); and, (v) introduce additional 4 hour limited waiting bays in Crawley Lane; and (vi) extend the days of restriction in the 2 hour limited waiting bays in Pound Hill Parade to permit waiting for 2 hours no return within 2 hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday; and (vii) introduce no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) on lengths of Alicia Avenue, Hazelwick Road, North Road, The Pasture and Three Bridges Road; and (viii) introduce waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) prohibiting waiting between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday on lengths of Crawley Lane and Moat Walk; and (ix) formalise a disabled bay in Hazelwick Road The Three Bridges (Controlled Parking Zone) CPZ Zone F was introduced in April 2010 and the Pound Hill South CPZ Zone G was introduced in July 2013. Although the parking restrictions are generally working well during the week a number of residents in roads closest to Three Bridges station are experiencing parking problems at the weekend and expressed a desire for the days of control to be extended to include Saturdays. n addition there have been a number of complaints from roads on the periphery of the CPZ Zones citing a reduction in parking capacity, obstruction of residential accesses and impaired visibility at junctions impeding the free-flow of traffic. A parking consultation was commissioned in June and July 2015 to look at these issues. It was established that there is sufficient support locally to extend the days of control to include Saturday in some roads in existing Zone F to create new Zone F2. Zone F2 permit holders will also be able to park in Zone F. It is proposed to extend Zones F to include Ash Road, Forge Lane, Forge Road, Halland Close, Holly Close, North Road, Pond Wood Road, Woodend Close and Zone G to include Hastings Road. Minor amendments are proposed to the existing parking and waiting restrictions in Zones F and G to maximise parking capacity for residents. To maintain safety and improve visibility double yellow lines are proposed at the junctions of North Road and Pound Wood Road, North Road and Cross Ways and North Road and North Road to Northgate Avenue that fall outside of Zone F TRO/CRE8012/RC It is proposed to extend the days of operation of all the limited waiting bays in Pound Hill Parade to include Saturday to try and maximise turnover for the benefit of local businesses. The opportunity is being taken to formalise a disabled bay outside No. 63 Hazelwick Road. This will ensure the disabled bay is enforceable and use of it reserved for blue badge holders only. This Order is proposed for avoiding danger to persons or traffic using the road or for preventing the likelihood of any danger arising, to improve the amenity of the area through which the roads run and to facilitate the passage on the road of any class of traffic.
