Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 132, s. 2016 the administration of the 2016-2017 National Career Assessment Examination for Grade 9 Students in all public and private secondary schools will be on December 7 and 8, 2016. 2. Java MT II - OIC Inclosure No. 3 to Division Memorandum No. 139, s. 2016 GUIDELINES IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE NATIONAL CAREER ASSESSMENT EXAMINATION (NCAE) 1. Testing Personnel in the School Personnel to be involved in the implementation of the National Career Assessment Examination shall be the staff assigned in their respective school. These include the School Principal, Head Teacher, Guidance Counselor/s and Classroom Teacher/s. They shall function as Chief Examiner, Room Supervisor/s, and Room Examiner/s. The Chief Examiner in a school shall be the School Head. The Room Supervisor/s shall be the Guidance Counselor/s. If there are no personnel with these designations, the Room Supervisor/s shall be a member/members of the teaching staff who has/have the most number of years experience in standardized testing. There shall be one Room Supervisor for every five testing rooms. If there are less than five testing rooms, the Chief Examiner acts as the Room Supervisor. The Room Examiner/s shall be the elementary school teacher/s. 2. Functions/Responsibilities of Testing Personnel 2.1 The Chief Examiner: 2.1.1 Maintains the security and confidentiality of test materials received from the DTC after getting the TMs from the DTC; 2.1.2 Accountable and responsible for all the TMs received. This ends when the TNs are returned to the DTC; 2.1.3 Assigns a room where Res can be met before and after the test administration; 2.1.4 Counts all packs of TBs/Ass before releasing them to each RE; 2.1.5 Records pertinent data about the test materials released to and received from the REs in the Accounting form (Form 3) and Forms 4, 5, 6 and in the SSH; 2.1.6 Distributes the TBs to each RE and reminds him/her to count these without opening the pack and before leavin the room; 2.1.7 Monitors proper accomplishment of the different forms by the RE while the test proper is in progress; 2.1.8 Follows the instruction for Accounting and Packing of TMs at the EH; 2.1.9 Aware of the details of the testing program to be administered; and 2.1.10 Orients every teacher in his/her respective school on the guidelines and EH relative to the test administration. 2.2 The Room Supervisor: 2.2.1 Monitors the conduct of the test administration in testing center with 5 or more testing rooms (NCAE); 2.2.2 Checks if the REs adhere to the instructions in the EH; and 2.2.3 Counts and double counts the TBs per pack and the number of the ETRESs.
