Teal Bunbury, a current member of the U.S. Men’s National AKRON Team, became the first UA player to win the prestigious award MEN’S SOCCER in 2009 and teammate Darlington Nagbe, who was the No. 2 overall selection of the 2011 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, CALEB PORTER followed suit in 2010. UA was just the fifth school in the history of HEAD COACH the men’s player of the year award to record consecutive winners SEVENTH SEASON all-time and the first since Virginia in 1995-96.
