Sir/Madam, In supersession of all the previous letters issued on the subject, the competent authority has approved the following priorities for reservations or preferences to the wards of Armed Forces personnel by States/UTs/Central/State Universities/Autonomous Institutions for admission in medical / professional / non-professional courses : - Priority-l Widows/Wards of Defence personnel killed in action. Priority-ll Wards of disabled in action and boarded out from service. Priority-lll Widows/Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service. Priority-lV Wards of disabled in service and boorded out with disability attributable to military service.
