18 vie for crown in Watervliet Queen Contest WATERVUET'S BLOSSOMTIME QUEEN CONTEST... Will be Saturday, January 23, at the Watervliet High School auditorium. Tickets for the event will go on sale two weeks in advance of the contest. The Watervliet Queen Contest Is sponsored by the Watervliet Lions Club; chairmen of the event this year are Brad and Nancy Dlouhy. The eighteen contestants for this year's contest are, sitting left to right, Samantha McQuiston, Lynn Wise, Amy Kiekenapp and Michelle Zilke.
