The car giveaway, which awards free vehicles to veterans in need, will be held at Veterans Memorial Park, 339 W. Central, in Wichita from 7-8:30 a.m. What: “Cars 4 Heroes” giveaway on Patriot Day. Veterans in need will be awarded used vehicles free of charge through the “Cars4Heroes” program. Their stories will be shared with listeners. Why: Honor veterans on Patriot Day while recognizing the need among them for safe, reliable transportation.
