VPBY (Varishtha Pension Bima Yojana 2017) - The scheme aims to provide Social Security to elderly persons aged 60 years during their old age. 9. UDAY (Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana) Scheme - Aims at reviving the financial turnaround and revival of Power Distribution companies (DISCOMs), and importantly also ensures a sustainable permanent solution to the problem. 10.
