Next year, Royal Collection Trust and Historic Royal Palaces mark this 300th anniversary, offering groups the opportunity to explore the beginning of the Georgian age with a special combined visit to The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace, and the newly re-presented King's Apartments at Kensington Palace at a discounted price. The First Georgians: Art & Monarchy 1714-60 at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace explores royal patronage and taste in the reigns of George 1 and George II William Hogarth, David Garrick with against the backdrop of one of the most dramatic periods of his Wife Eva-Maria Veigel, change across British political, intellectual and cultural life. 1757 – 1764 The exhibition brings together more than 300 works in the Royal Collection Trust / ©Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Royal Collection from royal residences across the UK. It is 2013 accompanied by a three-part BBC Four television series, part of a Royal Collection Trust and BBC partnership. At Kensington Palace Glorious Georges invites visitors into the newly presented King's State Apartments, created by George I and lived in by George II and his consort Queen Caroline. The King's Presence Chamber has been beautifully restored with crimson damask silk and gilded paintwork.
