All hosts provide the same core experience, leading you through a tasting on Zoom or similar platform of your 5 wines. His tastings are a great mix of deep knowledge and education combined with a relaxed and fun attitude toward wine. His goal is to make wine more accessible so that everyone can enjoy. Bryce Eggert Sommelier & Wine Host, Winemaking team member $150 per hosting Bryce is a WSET level 2 certified Wine Educator (i.e. Sommelier) and has worked at wineries from Napa to Chico making wine as well as hosting wine tastings. At Voluptuary & Lucid he helps make the wine and host virtual wine tastings. Bryce has high energy and incredible wine knowledge and is great for all events from corporate team-building to casual celebrations. Christina Orozco Tasting Host, Circus Performer $100 per hosting Christina has been a member of our winery team since the beginning, helping with winemaking, customer service, and as one of our wine tasting hosts. Christina is also a professional circus performer, specializing in fire and LED performances under the moniker “Christiana Jones.” Ask about adding on a 5-minute circus performance as part of your tasting experience (+$5/pp)! In addition to her obvious love of performance and hosting, Christina is a relaxed and fun host, boasting great knowledge of our wines and wine tasting. Michael Bogowitz Virtual Tasting Host, Sommelier, Circus performer $150 per hosting Michael Bogowitz is a member of our winemaking & events team, & one of our most popular hosts. He brings great energy to your team building or happy hour event, & has training in wine education & a sommelier certifications. Michael is also a world class circus performer, having performed for Google, the San Francisco 49ers, Build.com, & numerous bands & concert venues. Luis Mejia Virtual Tasting Host, Sommelier, Circus performer $150 per hosting Luis Mejia is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers with two decades of experience in hospitality & wine. Luis loves the theatrical and poetic elements of wine: “It's a time capsule of sunlight, as every grape and vine individually harbor a moment in time and place like nature's historians.” Luis is inviting and thoughtful and an excellent host for groups with an interest in diving deep into wine knowledge and expertise. Russ Reyes Wine Personality & Virtual Tasting Host $250 per hosting Russ Reyes of Kilt & Cork has a passion and knowledge for wine, whiskey and ale that comes from his family collision of cultures where Scotland meets Mexico! He can be found storming local watering holes, tasting rooms, brewpubs and distilleries wearing his signature kilts and Doc Martens and spreading the good news of the abundant wines, spirits and beers crafted in the Sacramento and Sierra Foothills regions he calls home. Her tastings are informed by her years of experience hosting corporate team-building events and wine tastings, and are perfect for team-building events & VIP experiences. Carrie Boyle Sommelier, CSW, Wine Educator $250 per hosting Carrie Boyle is the online wine writer for Sacramento Magazine and co-founder of River City Wine Week, and she has over 20 years in the wine industry. She has been a general manager for a national wine & spirits retailer, owned and operated her own fine wine shops, and is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), sommelier and wine judge. She has made her own wine, designed and taught classes, orchestrated large wine events and traveled to wine regions all over the world. Jerome Luther Director of Operations $350 per hosting Jerome manages daily shipping operations at Voluptuary, and has been hosting tastings with us since 2017 at our public tastings. He is also a major foodie & cook, and is great for groups with a special interest in food pairing. His tastings are especially fun, with a special twist of Jerome’s light-hearted attitude & sense of humor.
