There he commenced Motor Vehicle Act investigations along with Workers Compensation and Public Liability Investigations, material damage claims and burglary claims. In 1984, David moved to Vanuatu to investigate all types of loss adjusting, primarily including property damage caused by fire, cyclone, earthquake, flood and tsunami; as well as casualty, workers compensation, marine hull and cargo, fidelity, arson and fraud claims.
