NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2010 and TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 1999 (AS AMENDED AND MODIFIED) APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION Proposed Development at: LOW LEVEL WASTE REPOSITORY, DRIGG, HOLMROOK, CUMBRIA I give notice that Low Level Waste Repository Ltd has submitted additional and amended information and a supplementary Environmental Statement in relation to the planning application submitted to Cumbria County Council for: Phased construction of Vaults 9a to 14 and for the disposal of low level radioactive wastes within these new Vaults and within the existing Vault 9 with higher stacking, for the retention of temporarily higher stacked containers in Vault 8, with additional higher stacking. Phased construction of a permanent engineered capping layer over Trenches 1 to 7 and Vaults 8 to 14, with other ancillary works. (Ref: 4/11/9007) The application and additional and amended information can be inspected online at Cumbria.gov.uk or at the offices of: Copeland Borough Council - The Copeland Centre, Catherine Street, Whitehaven, (tel. 0845 095 2100); or LLW Repository Ltd - Allerdale Court, Greengarth Business Park, Holmrook; during their normal office hours. Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement and additional information by writing to LLW Repository Ltd, Pelham House, Pelham Drive, Calderbridge, Seascale, Cumbria, CA20 1DB for a charge of £100 or a CD containing an electronic copy free of charge.
