The Canal Latéral à la Loire then acts as a link between Burgundy and the Loire Valley. This charming stage, starting at the unique city of Nevers, with its many services and shops, is almost entirely on greenways. Route Leave Nevers west along the Loire, following the EuroVelo 6 route to link up with the Loire à Vélo route. After crossing the Loire, take a left along Rue de la Jonction (with its campsite) and join the branch canal. Départ Arrivée Cross Le Guétin’s canal-bridge on foot, enjoying the Nevers Cuffy views.
