Tickets available from Tony Fernandes 6. OUR LADY OF FATIMA. This Saturday is A DAY WITH MARY, News next week on how the day went. 7. FUTURE EVENTS. The next KONKANI Mass will be on Sunday 24th June at 12.30 pm. On the second Sunday of each month there will be a procession within the church grounds commencing on Sunday 10th.June, the young members of our congregation love taking part in these so let’s encourage them by having parents and all adults joining in. We hope to have some banners available to carry in the procession We have been informed that we will have an exposition of the DIVINE MERCY on 11th November, more details will be given as soon as we receive them. 8. THERE IS A BOX ON THE TABLE in front of Our Lady of Merton at the back of the church; we are asking parishioners to contribute to the cost of sending 2 parishioners to Liverpool for the ADOREMUS CONFERENCE for 3 days in September 2018. They will make a presentation to our parishioners on their return on the contents of the conference and how they believe St. Josephs will benefit from their attendance. 9. SUNDAY’S CONFIRMATION MASS was again an excellent service, good comments by Bishop Hendricks and our young parishioners did us proud. N.B. PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE TAKEN AT THE CONFIRMATION SERVICE. We will keep you informed on any progress made. Any suggestions will be most welcome. 11TH June: SAINT BARNABAS, Apostle: Born on the island of Cyprus. He was one of the first converts in Jerusalem and preached at Antioch. He became a companion of Saint Paul and went with him on his first missionary journey, and he took part in the Council of Jerusalem. He returned to his native land to preach the gospel and there he died .
