Details of compensatory afforestation scheme: As per the PCCF, TS., Hyd reference No.6497/2016/FCA-1/TS, (Segment -25/18), dt.02.05.2016 the CA land pertains to this was identified by the User Agency in lieu of forest land being diverted for Telangana Drinking Water supply project at Chandampet mandal of Nalgonda District under the jurisdiction of Divisional Forest Officer, WLM Division Nagarjuna Sagar. Hence, the CA scheme proposals will be submitted by the Wildlife Division, Nagarjunasagar, Nalgonda District. 11. Site inspection report of the Deputy Conservator of Forests especially highlighting facts asked in col.7 (xi, xii) 8 and 9 above : I have inspected all the sites on 28.09.2016. The proposed are falling in various compartments and different Reserve Forest Blocks and the details furnished in the column-16. All the proposed stretches are linear stretches and falls on the side of either already existed some type of Road or Right of Way (ROW) and free from any type of valuable tree growth and contains miscellaneous vegetation with trees having medium girth and valuable timber trees are also present. Absolutely the proposed activity of laying pipeline for drinking water supply project does not cause any harm to the local flora and fauna. The proposed project is a public important project having basic amenity creation up to the remotest village. The proposed pipeline connecting Devarapalli to Bakkachinthalapadu with a length of 4817.257 and width of 0.70 In set-2 is meant purely to supply the water to the Gothikoya encroachers who are actually native of Chattisgarh state and inanity there illegally and the villagers are un-notified. They are in-eligible for issue of titles under STs and Other Tribal Forest Dwellers and may be evicted at any point of there. Hence, these stretches shall not be diverted and the laying of pipeline would cause further destruction of forest areas around them. In view of the above requested examine my concern seriously and take appropriate action by keeping in view the importance of forest protection. All the sites falling in the forest type of Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous Forests (5A) as per Champion and Seth classification. The vegetation is of miscellaneous type with predominant species of Tectona Grandis, Terminalia tomentosa, Anogeisus latifolia, Hardwickia binnata, Terminalia arjuna, Madhuca indica, Xylia xylocarpa, Pterocarpus marsupium etc., The proposed forest land for diversion for the proposed project is bearest minimum and unavoidable. The villages which were benefitted by the proposed pipe line will be mostly local tribal inhabitants except the village Bakkachinthalapadu, where the Gothikoya encroachers are inhabitants. The soil type ranges from Red soil to loamy and Black cotton soils. The average crop density of the vegetation is 0.40 to 0.60 in all the sites. All the sites are flat lands and not vulnerable to erosion. 12. Division / District Profile i) Geographical area of the District : 1,60,29,000 Ha.
