Details Venue: Vauxhall Motors FC, Rivacre Park, Rivacre Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH66 1NJ Event Cost: £45.00 per team Dates: Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2019 Saturday 15th June Under 7’s, 9’s, 11’s and 13’s Sunday 16th June Under 8’s, 10’s, 12’s and 14’s Format • The Football Festival will start at 10am on each day • Teams will be split into two groups of six with every team playing each other in their group • Under 7’s and 8’s will play 5-aside and Under 9’s to Under 14’s will play 7-aside • Maximum squad size is 10 • Each game will consist of 10 minutes • Every team will play an absolute minimum of five games and 50 minutes of football • All teams advance through to tournament stage as follows: o The top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-final of the Elite Tournament with the winner of Group A playing the runner up of Group B etc. o Third and fourth place in each will enter the Premier Tournament in a mid-table cup competition with third in Group A playing fourth in Group B etc. o Fifth and sixth place will enter the Championship Tournament in a bottom-table cup competition with fifth in Group A playing sixth in Group B etc. • It is then a straight knockout until we have a tournament winner in each group The winning team in all tournaments will receive a winner’s trophy. All squad members of the winning team will receive a small trophy and losing finalists will receive a runner’s up medal. Entering the Football Festival • The entrance fee is £45 per team and payment can be made by bank transfer or by cheque • Entries for the Football Festival is on a first-come-first-served basis but limited to 12 teams per age group • Clubs will be allowed to enter a maximum of four teams per age group subject to availability • Telephone bookings will only be held open for seven days to give time for your entry form and payment to arrive (all parts of entry form must be completed). • Your place will be released if the forms and fees are not received within seven days of a telephone entry • Paid parking will be available on the day at £2 per car • You can reserve your place by emailing Steve McInerney at [email protected]. The Football Festival rules will be sent with confirmation of the successful team entries, individual team & player registration forms and directions as soon as all places are filled.
