The World Academy of Arts awarded Sakit Mammadov “Artist of the Planet” and “Artist of the year” Opalism and Sakit Mammadov Opalism is a school and style founded by academic artist Sakit Mammadov. The etymology of the word opalism is taken from the opal stone. Translated as "dazzling" in ancient Greek, "enchanting look" in Latin, "precious stone" in Sanskrit, this type of mineral stone combines colors not only as jewelry, but also has healing, extraordinary and inspiring properties that have delighted thousands of people. The warm color wreath available in Opal has attracted the interest of Sakit Mammadov since his youth. The play of colors on the stone is found in almost all of his works. In the artist's works, it is possible to see more noble, fiery or boulder, hydrophanic shades of opal. Opal appears in a new form in the paintings created by the artist. The School of Opalism created by Sakit Mammadov is presented not only by himself, but also by the students of the artist with high professionalism.
