Two things impres;^,; THE PRESIDENT me. first, the fact that the changes have been dramatic, second, that the developments of the past decade have been built upon REPORTS stable foundation that was established many years ago by students ^ who now are alumni and faculty members now on the emeritus Dr. Paul Woodring list. ] Interim President The most obvious change is in the size of the college—the'I '' enrollment has grown from 1,470 in the fall of 1954 to more tharl' 4,400 this fall. As q, ^ result, attrition rates were high during the freshman year. The«j expansion of our faculty has made it possible to offer improved COLLEGE-ALUMNI RELATIONS programs m all academic areas as well as strong interdisciplinary''' courses.
