Apprehension of (05) Accused Persons Who Were Involved in Brutal Murder of Smt Manjula Kanodia

APPREHENSION OF (05) ACCUSED PERSONS WHO WERE INVOLVED IN BRUTAL MURDER OF SMT MANJULA KANODIA IN CR. NO 133/2021 U/S 144, 148, 302, R/W 149 IPC & 25 (1.A) OF ARMS ACT OF PS SAIDABAD. On 14-04-2021, the Special team of Saidabad PS apprehended Prime Accused Mohd Imran (A1) along with his (4) associates who killed Smt Manjula Kanodia on 12-04-2021 at 08.40 hours at Naigara Apartment Lokayukta Colony, over more financial issues with Sri Parmimal Kanodia. Police seized a knife/dagger, two Activa motor cycles, blood stains shirt and (5) cell phones from the possession of accused. Details of Arrested Accused:- A1 Mohammed Imran S/o Late Mohammed Iqbal, age 28 years, Occ: Vegetable shop No 271, Gudimalkapur, R/o H. No. 13-5-610/40, beside Shakeel Hotel Lane, Opp: Tappachabutra PS, Tappachabutra, Hyderabad, A2 Basheer Uddin Qureshi S/o Md Najeeb Qureshi, age 25 years, Occ: Butcher, R/o H. No. 13-4-509, Subzimandi, Karwan Hyderabad, A3 Syed Arshad S/o Syed Amjad, age 21 years, Occ: Sofa Maker, R/o:H. No. 13- 1-1233/186, Natraj Nagar, Old Kishan, Nagar Jhirra, Aisfnagar, Hyderabad A4 Syed Irfan S/o Syed Saleem, age 22 years, Occ: Car Driver, R/o H. No. 13-1- 1235/98, Rahath Hotel, Near Hari Dargha, Tappachabutra, Hyderabad A5 Mirza Wasim Baig @ Waseem S/o Late Mirza Sultan Baig, age 25 years, Occ: Salesman, R/o H. No. 13-4-80/1/D, Subzimandi Karwan Near Maternity Hospital, Hyderabad. Brief facts of the case:- The deceased Smt Manjula Kanodia and her husband Mr Parimal Kanodia, presently staying at Flat No 304, Niagara Apartment, Saidabad Colony, Parimal Kanodia used to run medical shop/pharmaceutical business in partnership other individuals and believed to have been taken huge amounts from many people including and invested in the business. One Smt Mehraj begum R/o Tappachabutra on the advice of her relative one Khaiser has invested an amount of Rs 11 Lakhs with deceased husband Parimal Kanodia on him showing a medical general store at Koti and medical at Aditya Hospital, Tilak Road, Abids and the copies of partnership deed with M/s Durga medicals executed between one Neeraj Agarwal and Ram shukla and Manjuala kanodia is having 45 % share. Smt Mehraj Begum lifted a chit in advance from Smt. Madavi R/o Malkajgiri and some amount by mortgaging the gold ornaments. Parimal Kanodia gave post dated cheques, promissory notes in the name of Kaiser and some blank cheques were to given as security to Mehraj Begum (A6). Later upto 5 to 6 months Parimal paid amount Rs 20000/- (twenty thousand) and Rs 30,000/- per month to Smt Mehraj Begum. Later Parimal stopped payments saying that he incurred in lost due to Lockdown and since he found absconded. When Smt Mehraj Begum asked Smt Manjula (deceased) she stated that she don’t know the whereabouts of her husband. A.1 Imran strongly suspected that Parimal must have visiting deceased but evading them. Therefore Imran bore grudge against Parimal Kanodia and his wife smt Manjula, thinking himself that the deceased willfully suppressing her husband hideout to evade return of their money and therefore A1 Imran decided to take revenge against Parimal and his wife Smt Manjula (deceased). While so on 12-04-2021 in evening hours A1 Imran called his friends A2 Basheer Qureshi, A3 Arshad, A4 Irfan, and A5 Mirza Wasim Baig to Mescow College, Karwan road and explained them regarding his financial crisis due to the cheating and fraud played by Parimal on his family and told them that he wanted to go to the house of Parimal at Saidabad to recover money if Parimal is traced or else to intimidate his wife Manjula (deceased ) to know his whereabouts and requested them to help and accompany him and A.2 to A.5 agreed. A1 put a knife/dagger in the dickey of Activa bike and all the accused A1 to A5 came to Saidabad on two Activa bikes . At about 8.15 PM they all reached near Kaman Saidabad Colony and stayed for 10 minutes and consumed cigarettes where A1 collected knife/dagger from the dickey and concealed under his shirt. At about 8.30 PM A1 to A5 parked their two Activa bikes in front of near Naigara Apartment and went on to Flat No 304. A1 Imran questioned Smt Manjula (deceased) that her husband taken amount Rs 11 Lakhs his mother Mehraj begum and asked her to call Parimal but Smt Manjula (deceased) expressed her ignorance of her husband whereabouts and further stated that she took divorce from him. Then A1 & A2 asked her to show the divorce papers but she denied. The Smt Manjula (deceased) told that her neighbors may feel otherwise and asked them to come down for discussion and A1 to A5 come down and Smt Manjula also came down and stayed on the road in front of the apartment. A1 & A2 requested Smt Manjula (deceased) to call her husband Parimal to return money but Smt Manjula (deceased) alleged to have been scolded on them for visiting her house and replied that she left her husband and she is unaware of his whereabouts and refused to pay anything. For five minutes or so the accused A.1 to A.5 went on requesting the deceased for Parimal but she scolded on them stating that she is not at all concerned to the money matter and she also said to be uttered that “my kisi ke baap se nahi darti”. After hearing her reply A1 Imran become furious and he came behind deceased and took out knife and stabbed the deceased on her back and in the waist, resulting she fell down on the road and raised hue and cries. After she fell on road A1 again attacked on her with knife/dagger and stabbed in her stomach, shoulder etc., and caused severe bleeding injuries and killed her on the spot. Due to sudden attack of A.1 on the deceased the other accused A.2 to A.5 ran away and all the accused escaped on same two wheelers. The arrested accused being produced before the Hon’ble VII ACMM Court Nampally for judicial remand. In this case the involvement/complicity of Smt Mehraj Begum is being investigated further. The above arrest was made under the supervision of Sri M. Ramesh, Joint. Commissioner of Police, HFAC, East Zone, Hyderabad, Sri N. Venkataraman, Asst Commissioner of police, Malakpet Division, East Zone, Sri K. Srinivas, (SHO) Saidabad Ps and Sri P. Suresh, Addl Inspector of Police of PS Saidabad and SI’s Sri B Ramu Nayak, Sri L Venkateshwarlu, and the staff of PS Saidabad, Hyderabad City. Jt. Commissioner of Police, HAC to DCP East Zone, Hyderabad. ORGANIZED CRICKET BETTING RACKET BUSTED – 03 HELD On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Police Panjagutta PS conducted raid at organized Cricket betting gaming house situated at Room no. 7005, 7th floor, The Park Hotel, Rajbhavan road, Somajiguda and apprehended (03) accused persons namely 1)Sharath Agarwal (Main cricket bookie), 2)Shah Ankith (Cricket Betting Sub-organizer) & 3)Rohit Agarwal (Punter) wherein the main accused is organizing Cricket betting and accepting cricket betting amount directly and indirectly, over cell phones from punters for ongoing IPL Cricket matches and gain easy money illegally. ➢ DETAILS OF ACCUSED PERSONs:- 1. Sharath Agarwal S/o. Gajodharlal Agarwal, age. 29 yrs, Occ. Cricket bookie R/o. Sultan Bazar, Hyderabad, (Main cricket bookie) 2. Shah Ankith S/o. Rajesh Shah, age. 28 yrs, Occ.Business R/o. Ramkoti, Hyderabad (Cricket Betting Sub-organizer / Money collection agent) 3. Rohit Agarwal S/o. Rajender Kumar, age. 33 yrs,occ Business R/o. Gouliguda Chaman, Hyderabad, ( Punter ) ➢ SEIZED MATERIAL:- 1. Rs. 40,000/- ( Betting amount ) 2. Four cell phones (used for online betting & installed betting apps) ➢ BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:- The accused Sharath Agarwal is native of Kalvakurthi, Mahaboob Nagar Dist, Telangana State. Ten years back settled in Hyderabad and presently residing in the limits of Ramkoti, Hyderabad. He is habit of betting money on the ongoing cricket matches. Due to loss in cricket betting hatched a plan to organizing betting during Cricket seasons and organizing cricket betting . Few months back he came into contact with main bookie and got betting app www.cricket Mazaa.com, cricket betting line login ID & Pass word, sharing to. Which provides on-line score ball to ball, as well as betting ratios and used to collect betting amount from the punters clandestinely and remit to main bookie and gain easy money illegally. During IPL Cricket season he engaged one sub-bookie by name Shah Ankith S/o. Rajesh Shah, age. 28 yrs, R/o. Ramkoti, Hyderabad and main punter Rohit Agarwal R/o. Gouliguda Chaman for collecting betting amount from Punters on commission basis. ➢ ARREST:- Today i.e on 15-04-2021 the main bookie Sharath Agarwal along with his associate Shah Ankith & Rohit Agarwal are organizing cricket betting at Room no. 7005, 7th floor, The Park Hotel, Rajbhavan road, Somajiguda and accepting cricket betting amount from punters through online & off line mode for ongoing IPL Live Cricket match held in between Rajasthan Royals Vs Delhi Capitals venue at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai by following betting app www.cricket mazaa .com meanwhile on tip off apprehended them and seized the above material. The apprehended accused persons along with seized material were handed over to SHO Panjagutta PS for taking necessary action. The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri.P.Radhakishan Rao, Dy.
