United Way of Bucks County’s Holiday Gift Card Drive Together, we can make sure ALL kids in Bucks County have a happy holiday! Did you know that many older kids and teens get overlooked during the holidays? Toy drives typically provide the right gifts for kids under 12, but not much for older siblings. We want to make sure that ALL kids in Bucks County get at least one great, exciting gift this year. Gift cards give older kids and teens the chance to go out, enjoy themselves with their friends, and get something they really want. Giving kids the gift of choice and a chance to pick something for themselves is one of the most empowering things you can do this season. We suggest gift cards from the following locations: Clothing: Food: Other: Aeropostale Subway Target American Eagle Burger King Walmart Abercrombie Dunkin Donuts iTunes Forever 21 Starbucks Barnes & Noble Hollister McDonald’s Amazon Wet Seal Pizza Hut/Domino’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Tips: Skip gift cards with activation fees. There are lots of great shops that don’t have a fee to activate gift cards. Make sure that you’re selecting gift cards that older kids and teens would like! This should be a treat for them. To participate: Send or drop off your gift card(s). Our address is 413 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills, PA, 19030. Send in a check with “Gift Card Drive” on the memo line and volunteers will get one for you. We will accept gift cards of all denominations, starting at $5, between November 24 and December 17. All donations will go to local nonprofits that work with teens or families with teens.
