Vaughn graduated from UC Davis in 1992 with a degree in biological sciences. He received his master’s degree in management from National University in 1999. He and his wife, Dana, were married on New Year’s Eve, 1998. He currently holds the career hits record at Trinity BRETT with 281 hits which is also second highest in the SCAC record books and fifth best in Division III history.
