2019 BOWIE BAYSOX GAME NOTES Saturday, April 13, 2019 - 1:35 p.m. Prince George's Stadium -- Bowie, MD Harrisburg Senators (8-1) vs. Bowie Baysox (2-6) RHP Tyler Mapes (0-1, 0.00 ERA) vs. RHP Dillon Tate (0-1, 6.75 ERA) Game #9 // Home Game #3 2019 SEASON In Case You Missed It: The Baysox lost their third in a row, this time a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Harrisburg Overall Record 2-6 Senators. Bowie took the early lead, with RBIs from Martin Cervenka and Chris Clare in the first two innings. In the Home Record 0-2 third, Harrisburg got a grand slam from Drew Ward to take a 4-2 lead. No one scored the rest of the game. Road Record 2-4 Versus Eastern Division 0-0 Tate's Turn: RHP Dillon Tate makes his second start of the year for the Baysox today. Tate took the loss in the Versus Western Division 2-6 second game of the doubleheader on April 6 against Harrisburg, allowing three runs in four innings. Tate, the #18 Current Streak L3 ranked prospect in the Orioles organization, according to MLB.com, was acquired last July in the trade that sent Current Homestand 0-2 Zack Britton to the Yankees. Tate was an Eastern League Mideason All-Star last year with Trenton, but struggled Last Road Trip 2-4 with Bowie after the trade, going 2-3 with a 5.75 ERA in seven starts. Tate was originally selected fourth overall in the 2015 MLB Draft by the Rangers out of UC Santa Barbara. He was traded to the Yankees in exchange for Carlos Last 5 Games 2-3 Beltran in August 2016. Britton replaces Gary No Errors Committed 1-2 Kendall, who was the head man in Bowie from 2011-2018. Britton picked up his first victory as a AA manager on Baysox vs. Harrisburg April 7 against the Harrisburg Senators. Last season, Britton managed the Delmarva Shorebirds, leading the club to a 68-66 record.
