CHECKLIST of application documents for international applicants for bachelor’s, Diplom and State Examination programmes - higher semester of study - Under certain conditions, when enrolling on an undergraduate degree at Leipzig University it is possible to start in a higher semester of study. If you have already earned credits in the same or a similar degree programme, you can apply to have these prior academic achievements taken into account. You will require a credits form, which you enclose with your application. If you wish to apply for a higher semester of study on the degree programmes Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy or Law, you can obtain the necessary credits form from the competent Landes- prüfungsamt. An overview of examination boards can be found at: https://www.uni- leipzig.de/en/studium/vor-dem-studium/courses/ You will need to apply online via the application portal uni-assist: www.uni-assist.de. Please also send all of your application documents by post to: Leipzig University c/o uni-assist e.V. 11507 Berlin Germany uni-assist will check whether your application is complete and whether you meet the requirements for studying at a German university. Leipzig University will then decide whether to allocate you a place and admit you to your course of study. In what form do I have to submit the application documents? Submit one certified copy of each of the original documents. In the case of foreign-language docu- ments, you must submit an original certified translation of the document, in either German or Eng- lish, in addition to the certified copy of the document in the original language. No translations are re- quired of original certificates if they are in German or English. However, you only have to submit your application documents once. A complete application includes the following documents. Use this checklist to make sure that you have the right copies of all the documents you need: Certified Certified Copy Translation Application form (online via uni-assist https://www.uni-assist.de/en/how-to- apply/apply-online/ as well as printed and signed) Credits form from Leipzig University (original) or Credits form from the Landesprüfungsamt Secondary school leaving certificate including grades (e.g. baccalaureate, school leaving certificate, A Levels) If you have already studied at a university: evidence of all completed degrees (e.g. bachelor’s, Diplom) If you have already studied at a university: Transcript of Records detailing all past achievements Certificate of language proficiency (e.g. DSH (level 2) or TestDaF (TDN 4 in all categories) for de- grees taught in German) Certificate from the competent Akademische Prüf- stelle (APS) (applicants from China, Vietnam and Mongolia only) 2 .
