The Baranivka united territorial community is an organic space of generous NATURE, active CITIZENS, innovation and organic production Baranivka united territorial community was established in accordance with Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Voluntary Association of Territorial Communities”. On December 18, 2016, the first elections to the Baraniv City Council were held. As a result, the Baranivka United Territorial Community included 1 city council, 1 town council and 11 village councils, namely: 1. Baranivka City Council; 8. Markivka Village Council; 2. Berestivka Village Council; 9. Rohachiv Village Coucil; 3. Virlia Village Council; 10. Polianka Town Council; 4. Zhary Village Council; 11. Smoldyriv Village Council; 5. Zeremlia Village Council; 12. Suiemtsi Village Council; 6. Yosypivka Village Council; 13. Yalishiv Village Council. 7. Natural - geographical and climatic conditions Baranivka united territorial community is located in the southwestern part of Zhytomyr region. The administrative center is Baranivka. The city is located on the banks of the river Sluch. The minimum distance of settlements to the administrative center is 3 km, the maximum is 29 km. Demography As of January 1, 2017, the population of Baranivka united territorial community was 24.0 thousand, including men - 9.8 thousand. (40,83%), women - 14,2 thousand people. (59.17%), including urban - 13.6 thousand people, rural - 10.4 thousand people. As of 01.01.2018, the population was 23.97 thousand, including women - 9.7 thousand. (or 40.47%), men - 14.26 thousand people. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine the population in Baranivka United Territorial Community as of January 1, 2018 was 22,972 thousand people. Population projections of Baranivka united territorial community till 2037 year. As we can see from picture 1. Mostly of Baranivka population consists of work-age population but dynamics of population decline is predicted. The number of unemployement people was 472 (1,97%), of which: 154 (0,64%) – are live in village, 318 (1,32%) – are live in city. Compared to 2017, it increased by 30 people or 6.7%. This indicates a low official unemployment rate in the united territorial community. 2.3.
