These vouchers are held by many local organisations. Provision Details: Foodbank clients bring their voucher to a food bank centre where it can be redeemed for three days emergency food. Volunteers meet clients over a cup of tea or free hot meal and are able to signpost people to agencies able to solve the longer- term problem Hours & Duration: The foodbank office is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Please note that the foodbank is not open over the weekend or on bank holidays. Referral Process: If you require a voucher to access the foodbank you can obtain one from the One Stop Shop in the Corby Cube or from Corby Citizens Advice Bureau. Otherwise care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, CAB and police identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher. We have an ever changing stock of used furniture and household goods. These are sold at low, nominal, prices to needy families and individuals. Goods are generally delivered to the purchaser’s home free of charge. By providing affordable homemaking, at not for profit prices, to people on benefits and low income, we enable families to make their house into a home. Eligible pet owners living within the catchment area of a PDSA Pet Aid hospital or practice may register their pets at that facility. Eligible pet owners living outside these catchment areas may apply for PDSA support through a Special Request. PDSA only treats one pedigree pet per household. Provision Details: PDSA exists to care for the pets of people in need. They provide veterinary services to sick and injured animals and promote responsible pet ownership.
