The former residence is now used for exhibitions and festivities for the Selby Botanical Gardens. The building rests on a brick foundation wall and has a basically "H" ground plan, with the central core of the house having north and south wings with front facing gables. The wings also have extensions on their north and south elevations. The central core of the mansion has a two-story portico on the main (east)
