Likes and responses to your posts Daily digest 24 Accessing Yammer • Web browser • Mobile app – Windows Phone – iPhone and iPad – Android phone and tablet – Blackberry • Go to http://blackberry.yammer.com on your Blackberry’s browser. • Desktop app – Follow Yammer without opening your Internet browser – Get instant messaging – Limited functionality • Email or SMS – Set your preferences for frequency • Premium options – Integration with SharePoint – Post your Tweets 25 • Check to make sure you are not blocked from Yammer as a social media website; if so, seek permission to use the site for business purposes. • Accept your email invitation – Others in your department can request an invitation by visiting the landing page www.yammer.com/maasto • Go to the profile tab and complete the information under each of the following sections: – Basics – Profile – Password – Notifications – Preferences – Don’t forget your photo – that’s a great networking tool when you want to meet up at the next AASHTO conference 26 Four steps to getting started 1.
