Manydown Masterplan Consultation ©TIBBALDS FEBRUARY / MARCH 2016 2 This report has been prepared as part a consultation exercise on Manydown that runs from 17 February to 29 March 2016. It is intended to help gather feedback on key issues related to the development and throughout this document there are questions for you to answer. These are also available as a separate questionnaire in a number of formats including both online and on paper. There will be an exhibition that includes selected information from this report, together with the questionnaire, in a number of locations between 27 February and 5 March - see below. This will also be an opportunity to ask the team questions. You can give us your feedback by: 1 answering an online questionnaire at: www.manydownbasingstoke.co.uk 2 downloading and completing the questionnaire and handing it back to us at any one of the drop-in events or posting it to 'Freepost Manydown’. How did people get involved? The community design event in November 2015, offered: ■ 16 workshops on key issues and themes for the new development. ■ Three local community workshops involving Buckskin / South Ham / Worting / Kempshott / Oakley / Sherborne St John / Wootton St Lawrence / Rooksdown / Winklebury. ■ Public exhibition over the weekend of 14 and 15 November 2015 with the opportunity to talk to a member of the project team in detail and to input key issues, ideas and responses to the ideas that had been developed so far. What have we been doing since then? ■ Schools engagement - three workshops with people aged from 10 to 14 years old, from fi ve primary, two secondary and one special school. ■ Ongoing meetings with local groups and adjacent parish councils and wards. ■ Working group meetings across a range of topics in January and early February 2016.
