Below is a short introduction into each of their involvement at the university. Sara Martin (left) is a junior nursing student who came to Finlandia from Durango, Colorado. She’s a three-year member of the women’s hockey team, and the secretary and treasurer of student senate. Schwartzen Jarmond is a junior business major from Staten Island, New York. He is the president of student senate, black student union and a member of the basketball team. Kristy Kerstner is a sophomore nursing student from Rapid River, Michigan who helped start the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society chapter on campus, a group that she is now the president of. She also participated in the 2015 Service and Learning in Tanzania experience last May.
