PRESS RELEASE No. 721/2015 Date: 13th October 2015 Gibraltar Finance highlighting Funds in the City of London The Hon Albert Isola MP, Minister for Financial Services, hosted HM Government of Gibraltar’s second successful Funds and Asset Managers breakfast at the RAC in London on the 13th October. In his address to the almost 200 attendees, who were guests of Gibraltar Finance and of members of the Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association, Minister Isola gave an update on Gibraltar's economy and expounded on the benefits of Gibraltar for the funds and asset management sector. The breakfast setting also provided a perfect opportunity for new business, networking and strengthening of relationships with the guests who included funds' lawyers, asset managers, hedge fund professionals, consultants and media. The Hon Gilbert Licudi QC MP, Minister for Education, Justice and International Exchange of Information and Samantha Barrass, CEO, Gibraltar Financial Services Commission also attended the event. Minister Isola commented: "This is our second annual event in London exclusively for the Funds and Asset Management sector and I am delighted by the quality of the people attending which has afforded Gibraltar Finance and the private sector professionals an excellent forum to explain and discuss the advantages that Gibraltar can bring to the sector.
