UNDER SECTION 8(1) OF THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES (ELECTIONS) ACT, 1969, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED BY THE MINISTER AS FOLLOWS:- - I. This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Elections) (Registration of Voters) (No. 2) Order, 1970. 2. The electoral registrar of every local authority area specified in the first schedule is hereby required to prepare a register of voten; for the focal authority area of which he is the e111ctoral registrar. 3. The 30th April, 1970, shall ·be the qualifying date with reference to which a person shall be qualified to be registered in pursuance of this Order. 4. The days set out in the second column of the second schedule shall be the days with reference to which the matters set out in the first column of the said schedule opposite such days, respectively, shall be done.
