FGCU EMU and FGCU met for the first time in their respective histories last season for a one-game midweek contest. The Eagles of Florida Gulf Coast took the game, 12- UNIVERSITY Location: Ypsilanti, Michigan 5, Feb. 22. FGCU has only fielded a team since 2003, and just became a full-time Founded: 1849 Division-I program in 2010. Enrollment: 21,105 President: Dr. James M. Smith ALL-TIME VS. THE A-SUN Nickname: Eagles Eastern Michigan is 4-5 all-time against the Atlantic Sun Conference. Eastern Colors: Green (349) and White Conference: Mid-American Conference (MAC) faced a pair of teams from the Macon, Ga. based conference in 2016, winning a Home Facility: Oestrike Stadium single game against NJIT, and going 1-2 in a weekend series against Lipscomb.
