‘It’s Happening’ in Final Trailer for ‘Stranger Things’ 10.13.2017 Netflix's third and final trailer, released on Friday the 13th, reveals an epic evil that's bigger, badder, and definitely more apocalyptic than the Demogorgon of season one. Intense flashes from season two offer clues of what's to come: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is back, no longer bald and still loves Eggo waffles. Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) has a new boyfriend (newcomer Sean Astin) and is unsurprisingly frantic to know what's wrong with her son. Will (Noah Schnapp) is not well, and seeing visions of a frightening shadow looming over the town. Chief Hopper (David Harbour) is tossing guns to Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer). "These are not nightmares," says Hopper. "It's happening. It all leads back to here." The boys "need as much help as they can get" and team up with new characters Max (Sadie Sink), and Billy (Dacre Montgomery). Other new cast members include Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, Will Chase and Brett Gelman. Season two picks up a year after the season one finale. According to Netflix: It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived. Stranger Things premieres October 27 on Netflix.
