Regulations Governing the Qualification and Registration of Cricketers 1 Definitions In these Regulations: 1.1 “Appeal Panel” means the Appeal Panel, appointed pursuant to Regulation 11. 1.2 “Approved Cricket” means a Domestic Cricket Event as defined by the ICC in Regulation 32 of the ICC Regulations. 1.3 “Arbitration Panel” means the Arbitration Panel, appointed pursuant to Regulation 8. 1.4 “Competition” means each of the LV= County 10 Championship, the Friends Life t20 and the Yorkshire Bank 40. R e g u l 1.5 “Competitive County Cricket” means: a t i o n (a) the LV= County Championship and the Minor s G Counties Championship; o v e r (b) the Yorkshire Bank 40 and the Friends Life t20 ; and n i n g t (c) any other similar competition authorised by and h e designated as Competitive County Cricket by the ECB. Q u a l i 1.6 “County”, except where the context may otherwise f i c a require, means any one of the County Cricket Clubs t i o n from time to time playing in the LV= County a n Championship or the Minor Counties Championship d R and, in relation to the Yorkshire Bank 40 includes e g i s Scotland, the Netherlands and the Unicorns. t r a t i o 1.7 “Cricketer” means a cricketer who is or seeks to be n o qualified and/or registered in accordance with these f C r i Regulations. c k e t 1.8 “ECB” means the England and Wales Cricket Board, or e r s a duly appointed committee thereof. 145 1.9 “EEA” means the European Economic Area, namely member of the ICC and “Affiliate Member Country” the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern means a country which is an affiliate member of the ICC. Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Belgium, the 1.14 “Governing Body” means, in relation to an Unqualified Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Germany, Cricketer, the Governing Body or Bodies (if any) for Denmark, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Finland, cricket of any ICC Full Member country or countries for Sweden, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Cyprus, the which he is qualified to play in a Test Match.
