How to use Snip and Sketch In Windows 10, you are able to use the Snip and Sketch tool to make screenshots of items you would like to add to your documents. This replaces the old Snipping tool option you had in previous versions on Windows. Using the new Snip and Sketch tool will let you easily take a screenshot with a variety of tools that make every snip your own. To use this tool, you will find it in your Windows start menu: **You can also pin this to your taskbar for easy access by right clicking on the icon and selecting pin to start. This will allow it to be on the right of your list of items and you won’t have to scroll through your list to locate it. Once you have located the item that you are wanting to capture to use in a document, sheet or email, click on the Snip and Sketch icon in your start up menu or on your taskbar. The following screen will then appear: **You also have the option to take a new snip and sketch photo with a 3 seconds or 10 seconds delay, by selecting the arrow next to the new button. Once the above screen appears, you are ready to capture the picture, chart, words, etc that you are wishing to snip. To do this, you will click on the NEW button at the top of your screen. After you have clicked the button, your screen will appear gray. At this point, you will have the option to select what type of snip you would like to use, including, rectangular, freeform or full screen. Below is the box that will appear at the top of your screen to make your selection. You are now ready to capture your item. You also have the option to customize the item that you captured by using the following buttons to touch write, use a ballpoint pen, use a pencil, highlighter, eraser or crop your picture. These buttons give you the option to circle, highlight or underline specific items. These buttons also allow you to edit your screenshots. Once you have captured the item and customized it, you can click on the save button and this will save your image to your pictures folder on your computer. .
