The Bruins’ 1969 ballclub also had 10 shutouts * Pac-10 Conference game en route to earning the program’s first-ever apperance to the College World Series after finishing first in the ^ resumed from Feb. 25 (rain suspension) Pac-8 Conference. UCLA tallied nine shutouts in 1978, eight in 1967 and five in 2008, 1992 and 1977. The DC Dodgertown Classic REG NCAA Los Angeles Regional (Jackie Robinson Stadium) Bruins opened their 2011 campaign with six shutouts in 18 games.
