STROUDSBURGSTROUDSBURG AREAAREA SCHOOLSCHOOL DISTRICTDISTRICT STANDARDIZEDSTANDARDIZED DRESSDRESS GUIDELINESGUIDELINES ““““““HOMEHOME OFOF THETHE MOUNTAINEERSMOUNTAINEERS ”””””” WELCOMEWELCOME BACKBACK STUDENTS!!STUDENTS!! 20092009 ------20102010 APPROVED TOPS: Traditional style polo or Standard Oxford shirt/blouse, must be buttoned to base of neck Colors : Solid white, black, maroon/burgundy, grey, or black TOPTOP VIOLATIONSVIOLATIONS :: NoNo lowlow cutcut neckline,neckline, mustmust havehave collar,collar, nono logologo ’’ss APPROVED BOTTOMS : Dress or Casual “Docker ” style or corduroy, pants, shorts, capris , or skirts/ skorts Appropriately sized, worn at natural waist. Skirt/ Skort /Shorts worn to top of knee. Colors : Black or Khaki/Stone BOTTOM VIOLATIONS : No tight, form -fitting pants are permitted APPROVED BELTS : Must be worn at natural waist and be solid color black, tan, brown, or white . Belts must have standard buckle. No designs, logo ’s. BELT VIOLATIONS : Belts may have no designs, emblems, insignias, studs, spikes, etc. APPROVED FOOTWEAR : Predominately solid black, brown, tan or white. Shoes may have a minor accent color (s). Laces must be of the same color of the shoe (or white) and tied. FOOTWEAR VIOLATIONS : Footwear may not have patterns of any kind! APPROVED FOOTWEAR : Shoes, sneakers, boots, sandals with back straps are permitted! “Uggs ” are permitted, but pants may not be tucked into or rolled to top of boot. FOOTWEAR VIOLATIONS : Footwear …No flip flops, combat boots, or Doc Martens are permitted. Sandals must have a back strap to be appropriate (those pictured below do not … thus they are violations!) APPROVED OPTIONAL APPAREL : Full torso sweater, vest , sweater vest, turtle neck sweater are appropriate. Colors: Solid white, black, maroon/burgundy, or grey OPTIONAL APPAREL VIOLATIONS : Optional Apparel … Tan/Khaki sweaters may not be worn! Also, vests/sweaters must be full torso …shrugs are not appropriate. Optional Apparel VIOLATIONS: Jewelry may be worn. Chains may b e no longer than 18 ”, and may no be made of thick guage metal (dog collar type). Hoop earrings may not be greater than 2 ”.
