Judge Starr was elected Representative to the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA since unanimously by the Baylor Board of Regents on Feb. 12, 2010, 2002 and has been a member of the Baylor Law faculty since following a search process that included representatives from all 1984. parts of the Baylor family. Rogers earned a bachelor of business administration degree Starr has had a distinguished career in academia, the law and and graduated with honors in 1972 from Texas Tech University, public service. Prior to coming to Baylor, he served for six years where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi as the Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean and Professor of Law at Kappa Phi honor societies and a varsity scholarship basketball Pepperdine, where he taught current constitutional issues and player. He received his J.D. degree from the University of civil procedure. He has also been of counsel to the law firm of Oklahoma in
