1005 Ridge Rd., Munster, IN 46321 JANUARY 2017 Edited by Laura Pramuk 45 th Street Grade Separation Update The Town of Munster is currently working with regional partners to build an underpass for 45 th Street below the Canadian National Rail line. As part of this project, 45 th Street east of Calumet Avenue will be realigned in order to meet 45 th Street west of Calumet Avenue. Work will also be performed on west 45 th Street and the intersection of 45 th Street and Calumet Avenue. The project is ex- pected to be completed over two construction seasons. A public meeting regarding the project was held at the Munster Town Hall on Monday, December 12. Various exhibits were available for the public to view, and representatives from the Town and its consultants were available to answer questions. The information and exhibits from this meeting are now available on the Town website, www.munster.org . They can be accessed by a link on the front homepage or under the “Current Projects” tab. Paper copies are also available in the Town Manager’s Office, located in Town Hall (1005 Ridge Road). Please call 219-836-6900 with questions or to receive a paper copy.
