March - April, 2007 The Sidecarist 3 2006 Brass Monkey Held at Death Valley - Jack Zollars [Editor’s Note: The 2007 Brass Monkey rally was scheduled for the President’s Day weekend in San Felipe, Baja, California, Mexico. Here’s hoping that a) Jack will send another report, b) I’ll remember to publish it in a timelier manner… and c) Jack will include some captions!] The 2006 Brass Monkey was held in Death Valley on the Presidents Day holiday weekend, Friday thru Monday in the middle of February, 2006. I arrived about 1 PM Thursday so as probably 15 to 30 and they trailer, one 14’ trailer and one to get the premium spot to would be in tents, campers and camper, not to mention Bob set up camp and have water trailers. So they told me that the Anderson’s pickup with bed in close by etc. etc. Upon arriving rules for campers were 4 per site back. with 2 cars. OK by me. Friday said spot was taken by some Friday was spent getting came along and other campers other campers in a large settled and renewing old kept coming and we had 32 trailer. They were friendly and friendships and sitting around in all by the end of Saturday said they would not be upset the campfi re and lying to one evening.
