A decadent, exclusive party mainly for gay people inspired on the early beginning of clubbing in the late eighties in NY. " Clubs at that time were mostly visited by black, gay people and it was the only place where they could be themselves. Most of these clubs are still legendary like the Paradise Garage, The Loft etc. ! It was the beginning of house music and dj’s like Larry Levan just discovered beat mixing and were playing a mix between disco, early house and wave. ! The atmosphere was decadent, sweaty, hot and sexy! That’s what we’re trying to create with Black out and uptill now, it definitely worked.!
