One van is equipped with a lift for wheelchair clients. Forty-eight hour notice is required. Blood pressure checks and blood sugar clinics are scheduled monthly by trained personnel, along with toenail and fingernail clinics. Volunteers through AARP were at the Center in Wauseon to assist Seniors with federal, state and city tax returns for 193 appointments. Budgeting Highlights The County’s budgeting process is prescribed by the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). Essentially the budget is the County’s appro- priations which are restricted by the amounts of anticipated revenues certified by the Budget Commission in accordance with the ORC. Therefore, the County’s plans or desires cannot be totally reflected in the original budget. If budgeted revenues are adjusted due to actual activity then the appropriations can be adjusted accordingly.
