We took a team of creatives to the Western Sahara refugee camps and over three trips to the camps we developed a play that was taken back and performed at the Saharan Film Festival which is a huge press event as well as a film festival. The play also ran in London. • In 2009 I set up my own production company Ludere Productions. Under the company I developed several stage plays including Olivier Award winning writer Bola Agbaje’s play Concrete Jungle with the Lyric Hammersmith. The play was taken on by Wild Thyme Productions best known for The King’s Speech and had offers from 20 UK theatres. Other Plays developed under the company were performed at Soho Theatre, The Park Theatre, Riverside Studios and The Arcola. Under the company I began developing comedy series Day Job’s, and short films, which created a natural progression into film as a production manager.
