The property lies approximately 9 miles south of Innerleithen, 10 miles to the west of Selkirk (6 miles east of St Mary’s Loch) and is in reasonable distance of daily travel to Edinburgh and main Borders towns. The main elevation is south facing and enjoys fine outlooks. The Yarrow Valley is noted for its great scenic beauty and was celebrated in the old Borders ballads and in the verse of James Hogg, the Ettrick Shepherd.
