Representative Smith shared lessons RELATED LINKS learned during the COVID-19 pandemic, how his campaign has shifted focus to constituent outreach in recent months, and his hope that his colleagues in Tallahassee will now understand the vital mission of VISIT FLORIDA. The last interview session will take place tomorrow, June 26 at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs (Thank you, Frank Cirrincione!) The purpose of this interview process is to identify "Pro-Hospitality" individuals for possible CFHLA/Hospitality Endorsements. CFHLA had the opportunity to discuss tourism related topics with both current Elected Officials that are seeking re-election and to individuals seeking Public Office for the first time: Commissioner Brandon Arrington Osceola County Commissioner District 3 Representative Carlos Guillermo-Smith District 49 Commissioner Emily Bonilla Orange County Commissioner District 5 Representative-Elect Travaris McCurdy District 46 Representative Jason Brodeur District 28 Senator Linda Stewart District 13 Sheriff Russ Gibson Osceola County Representative Geraldine Thompson District 44 Representative Joy Goff-Marcil District 30 Senator Victor Torres District 15 VOTING Make sure you are ready to cast your vote for “pro-Hospitality” candidates in 2020. The deadline to register to vote or update your party affiliation in Orange County this year is: MONDAY, JULY 20.
