Welcome to Eastgate SDA Church! A message from Pastor Eric Sayler: Everything seemed to be done. The ground was dry, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, grass was soft underfoot, and Adam was joyfully looking from one discovery to another, fascinated by all the things God had made. The more he looked, however, the more he realized that maybe God wasn’t done yet. Adam began to feel lonely. He wasn’t alone, with all the animals and God’s presence, but there was definitely something missing. So God created Eve. Adam’s other half and, as He did so, God created the first marriage. This Sabbath we are going to celebrate this final creation of God: Marriage. As a part of our worship service we will be blessed to be a part of George and Marylin’s joining of their lives together in holy matrimony. I’m looking forward to worshipping with you! ~Pastor Eric This Weekend: May 25, 2019; Pastor Eric continues discussing Christ, the relationship with the church and comparisons of brides, bridegrooms and marriage. Join us for potluck following the service and a reception for George & Marylin. Next Weekend: June 1, 2019; Pastor Eric will begin a three part series on the Holy Spirit.
