HS2 Ltd’s public affairs team wish to attend this year’s Party Conferences. This is something they have done annually since 2014. Cabinet Office rules stipulate they must first seek approval from the Permanent Secretary and the Cabinet Office Propriety and Ethics team. Timing 2. Routine. Autumn party conference season begins at the end of September, but an early response will enable the team to start planning their attendance. Recommendation 3.
