However, to see how well students perform at Holy Trinity Academy Sixth Form, you can still view the data and results for previous years when external examinations had taken place. You can also view the results from the past years to see the trends and how well the Academy does. The School is immensely proud of its KS5 results. The Sixth Form has had a small cohort for several years and so truly every student, and every examination paper, counts. The fact that Holy Trinity Academy achieved a positive Progress Score over the past 3 years means that on average our stu- dents do better than expected. This is a significant feature of our Sixth Form and not one that many Sixth Forms in Telford and Shropshire can claim: Progress August 2019 [All KS5 Progress August 2019 [A Level School Progress Of Students is ... courses] courses only] Holy Trinity Academy +0.42 +0.36 Well above average Madeley Academy +0.33 +0.33 Above average Wrekin College +0.10 +0.12 Average Adams Grammar +0.04 +0.11 Average Abraham Darby -0.04 -0.03 Average Newport Girls’ High School -0.07 -0.13 Average Thomas Telford School -0.15 -0.15 Below average Telford College -0.55 -0.54 Below average Note: Any score in the table above with the ‘+’ symbol shows that students are on average exceeding their targets. The ‘-’ symbols denotes underachievement. The number is a reflection of the average about of progress or underachievement. For example: ’+0.33’ would show that on average students exceed there KS5 subject targets by one third of a grade. RESULTS & DESTINATIONS In terms of destinations, 100% of our students went on to their choice of destinations.
