DIRECTIONS TO LOCH NESS SHORES – DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV ON THE A9 FROM THE NORTH • Approaching from the Kessock Bridge (North) on the A9, go straight on at the roundabout (unless you want to go into the centre of Inverness). • Ignore the slip road to Nairn, ABerdeen & Inverness continue on the A9 (south) to the next junction. • Once you go under the golden Bridge, keep in left lane; • Take the next exit, signed for Raigmore Hospital & Culloden • STAY IN LEFT LANE & Turn left at the traffic lights (end of slip road) • At the next roundaBout go second left on to Sir Walter Scott Drive (B8082) (If you want shopping the first left takes you into a Tesco & Aldi carpark) • Continue straight on until the last (9th) roundabout, (which has a green Loch Ness Monster on it) and turn left on to the B862 to Dores • At Dores Bear right on to the B852 to Foyers, which takes you through Inverfarigaig to Foyers. • Once you have passed Foyers Lodge, on your right hand side, take next right signposted for Lower Foyers and follow Camping and Caravanning Club (small) signs. • Cross the river and immediately turn right and follow the road to the end . ON THE A9 FROM THE SOUTH • Approaching from south on M6/M74/M9/M90 – Carlisle/Glasgow/Edinburgh/Stirling to Perth take the A9, to the outskirts of Inverness • Take the first slip road for Culduthel, Hilton & (Raigmore) Hospital. • Continue straight on the B8082 (Sir Walter Scott Drive) through 8 roundabouts • At the 9th roundaBout (which has a Loch Ness Monster on it) turn left on to the B862 to Dores • At Dores Bear right on to the B852 to Foyers, which takes you through Inverfarigaig to Foyers. • Once you have passed Foyers Lodge, on your right, take next right signposted to Lower Foyers (behind the NO ENTRY sign) and follow Camping and Caravanning Club (small) signs. • Cross the river and immediately turn right and follow the road to the end. ON THE A96 FROM THE EAST • Approaching Inverness on the A96 from Nairn/Elgin turn left at the roundabout on to the A9 (south) • Keep in left lane. • Exit at first junction signed Raigmore Hospital & Culloden. • Then as per directions from the North. FROM THE SOUTH ON THE A82 • North on M6 to A74/M74 • Follow signs to Glasgow Airport (M8) and Erskine Bridge (M898) • Cross Erskine Bridge and join A82 north, which will take you all the way to Fort Augustus Loch Lomond, Crianlarich, Tyndrum, Glen Coe & Fort William) • Go into Fort Augustus (leave the A82) and turn right on to the B862 to Whitebridge • Turn left approximately 1 mile after Whitebridge Hotel on to the B852 to Foyers. • Approximately 1 mile after Foyers Shop turn left down a ‘hair pin’ with plenty of room to turn • Follow small Camping & Caravanning Club signs down to the campsite on the shores of Loch Ness FROM INVERNESS AIRPORT • Turn left when you come out of the airport and join the A96 to Inverness. • Approaching Inverness from the A96 turn left at the roundaBout on to the A9 (south). • Keep in left lane • Exit at first junction signed (Raigmore) Hospital & Culloden • Then as per directions from the North FROM THE ISLE OF SKYE • Follow the A87 till it splits either A887 to Invermoriston or A87 to Invergarry • The easiest way is A887 to Invermoriston • Turn right onto the A82 to Fort Augustus • Go through Fort Augustus and follow the road to the left joining the B862 to Whitebridge • The as per directions from the South FROM OBAN • Go North on the A85 until you get to North Connel • Join the A828 and continue North to the Ballachulish Bridge • Join the A82, which will take you through Fort William to Fort Augustus • Go into Fort Augustus (leave the A82) and turn right onto the B862 to Whitebridge • Then as per directions from the South .
