Hosting and helping to organise various weekly groups for disadvantaged people (including non-church members) e.g. older people, special needs, partially sighted, mental health drop-in. Funding requested: £500 Purpose of Grant: An open-air, ecumenical service of celebration and commemoration marking the 600th Anniversary of the Foundation of Syon Abbey for the Bridgettines, an order of religious people still existing today. It will take place on the site of Syon Abbey, behind Syon House, Brentford. The occasion is at 3pm on 19th July 2015, is hosted by the Duke of Northumberland and will be led by Cardinal Vincent Nichols, head of the Catholic Church in England.
